“My work is a tribute of respect to the heritage of the Blacksmiths down through the ages and how they carried humanity out of the Stone Age by their innovation in crafting metal into tools, functional items and works of art. It was because of the Blacksmiths that the eventual evolution and revolution of modern technology was brought about. Further more in my designing, I look out into the natural world where I am inspired by what I see as majestically unparalleled craftsmanship, ultimately designed and created purposefully by God” - Joshua De Lisle May 2014
